Is there an iOS 18 bug? An iOS 18 bug seems to be causing point data to not show on the RainMap. If you recently updated your iPhone to iOS 18, you will likely only see a rectangle where there should also be text showing the data value. The small "+" where there are points (but no data in the dataset) will also be missing. The latest Apple iOS 18.0.1 update did not fix the problem. We cannot tell when or if Apple will address this issue. We are investigating fixes, but have no idea if or when a fix will be made.
We have provided a link to an alternative site that contains almost the same data and some additional functionality **without the links that RainMap provides**. It works best on a phone in landscape orientation. A link to this site is on RainMap along with other links in the lower right corner. That site is:

Missing Data / Comments on Data: The RainMap occationally shows that data is missing. See our Outage Report to find out what we are aware of and Contact us if you want to report a problem.
Press Reset Button (Beta Test): We have added some code to the javascript for the "Reset" button that causes some cookies to reset. It also has code to clear the local storage or cache. We are trying to see if this will remedy the instances when the map and data points don't appear in RainMap. We followed the instructions on this page and this page and will see if this works. If this ends up deleteing cookies and cache from other websites will will disable it.
Missing Website Graphics: You may need to do something with your browser if the background map and/or station points will not display on your mobile device. You can try opening RainMap in Private mode tab in Safari or Private/Incognito mode tab in Chrome.
